What is juju? Where does it come from? How do you get it? Cultivate it? Summon it on demand?

There are those who have it and know they have it. (They are the Gods and Goddesses we love and admire.) There are those who have it and don’t know they have it. (But are on the road to discovering it). And the rest? Well, they are inevitably drawn to other enticements.

Juju is more than passion, although that’s the driving force. Juju draws you into a magic world where time stands still. You fall under a spell, and when you finally emerge, hours have gone by. You have found your juju. When you discover a new effect or technique or shortcut and have to tell someone or you’ll burst … you have found your juju.

Juju is sweet. It’s exhilarating. It’s addicting. It’s love and lust all wrapped up in pretty colors and soft light. Once you find it, you’re forever lost to a world of color, layers, masks, blending modes, brushes, curves, tones, adjustments, typography, shadows and highlights. It’s an endless voyage of learning and discovery and joy.
